Formed in 2005 by Phil Cousins, Head on East Music is a production house that creates global music for the mind.

Artists in the collective include reggae singer Alecia Cowan, ambient dub duo The Self Transforming Machine Elves and electro-acoustic pioneers ESP.

The company is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada however artists from Montreal, London UK and Portland, Jamaica are also involved in the production network.

The business objective of Head On East Music is to bring these artists productions to a global audience through licensing, publishing and distribution agreements.
